Heal the Witch Wound: A Transformative Retreat, September

£60.00

Immerse yourself in ritual, create your own healing tincture, and charge your intentions for the future with the powerful energy of the Virgo New Moon Solar Eclipse and Mabon

Sunday, 21st September 2025 | 4 Hours | Doncaster

Step into a sacred space to release what no longer serves you and reclaim your power.

This is a ritual journey for the parts of you that have been silenced, shamed, or hidden. Over four hours, we’ll create and heal together - guided by the potent energies of the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo and the turning of the wheel into Mabon.

What awaits you:

  • Ritual Tincture-Making: Craft your own sacred elixir using brandy/apple cider vinegar, honey, and rose petals. Infuse it with intention and the energy of your healing journey.
  • Charged Water Ceremony: Add petals, crystals, and your personal energy to water on the altar. This water will carry the power of the ritual and can be taken home as a sacred talisman.
  • Witch Wound Healing: Through guided ritual, Energetic Activation Meditation and reflection, we’ll uncover and release the wounds that have dimmed your magick.
  • Creative & Reflective Practices: Journaling, art, and prompts will help you process and integrate the energy of the retreat.
  • Connection & Community: Share space with like-minded changemakers, surrounded by safety, support, and understanding.

Why this retreat is different:

This is a ritual-first retreat, designed for deep energetic healing. Unlike other workshops, we combine:
  • Alchemy & Magick: Create a tincture and charged water as part of the healing process.
  • Embodied Practices: Move, reflect, and engage all senses in the healing journey.
  • Astrological Alignment: Work with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo to plant intentions for transformation and self-sovereignty.
  • Wheel of the Year: Work with the energies of Mabon; balance, gratitude, release, and abundance.
  • Personal Empowerment: Walk away with tools, practices, and rituals to continue your journey at home.

This retreat is for those who:

  • Feel called to heal old wounds tied to their power, sexuality, or spiritual identity.
  • Want to engage in ritual and creative practices to release and reclaim energy.
  • Are ready to step more fully into their magick, intuition, and authentic self.
  • Desire a safe, inclusive space to explore deep emotional and energetic healing.

What energies are we being supported by during this retreat?

The day of the retreat sees some major energies supporting us on our healing journey. We have the New Moon in Virgo - a rare second one during this moon cycle - and a solar eclipse!

This event marks a significant period for personal renewal and the potential for major changes in your life direction. It's an opportune time to focus on self-improvement, make important decisions, and release what no longer serves you, as you step into a new phase.

How can these energies help us?

Decision-Making:
This is a pivotal moment for making life-altering decisions, especially concerning work, relationships, or health routines.

Personal Rebirth:
The combination of the New Moon and solar eclipse in your sign can feel like a personal rebirth, inviting you to release past versions of yourself and embrace new beginnings.

Fated Events:
Seeds planted during this time could manifest into more significant events over the following months, creating fated circumstances in your life.

Mabon

This year, Mabon lands on the 22nd September, the day after our retreat. Mabon marks the half way point between the Summer Solstice and the Winter Solstice; the day has an equal amount of day and night.

For Mabon, we work with energies of balance, gratitude, harvest, abundance, letting go, and preparing for the coming darkness, symbolised by autumn colours, seasonal foods like apples, herbs such as rosemary and thyme, grounding crystals like agate, and autumnal natural elements like acorns and fallen leaves. When we engage in rituals that embody these themes, such as a gratitude ritual, a harvest feast, a releasing ritual, or connecting with nature to celebrate the balance of day and night and the bounty of the Earth, we honour the Wheel of the Year and ourselves.

What better day to have our retreat?

FAQ's

Q: Do I need to have prior experience with ritual, witchcraft, or energy work?
A: Not at all. This retreat is designed for everyone - beginners and experienced practitioners alike. All activities are guided, supportive, and inclusive, so you can participate at your own comfort level.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Bring yourself, an open heart, and a notebook/journal if you wish to journal. Everything else - crystals, petals, tincture ingredients, and ritual tools - will be provided. Comfortable clothing for movement is recommended and do feel free to bring any of your own personal tools (if you have them) if you feel called to do so.

Q: Is this retreat spiritual or religious?
A: This retreat is non-denominational and inclusive. We work with ritual and symbolism as tools for healing and empowerment, not religious doctrine. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or belief system. The session is however led by a Pagan and we are of course working with Mabon energies, too, so naturally this will be spoken about.

Q: Can I drink the tinctures or take the charged water home?
A: The tinctures can be seen as purely symbolic and meant for ritual or external use, however, they can be taken orally, too, but not immediately. We'll discuss this more at the time, however, once your tincture has been made, you don't use it for around 6 weeks. The charged water is safe to take home - but I suggest using it as a ritual tool, anointing, or meditation aid, rather than drinking it.

Q: Will there be a lot of talking or lecture-style teaching?
A: Sort of! This retreat is experiential. While I will guide you through rituals and practices, most of the work is hands-on, creative, and reflective. Journaling, art, movement, and energy work are central, but I do love a good chin wag and there will absolutely be elements of me sharing knowledge/teaching.

Q: I’m not familiar with the Witch Wound concept. Will I understand it?
A: Absolutely. I’ll introduce the concept in a gentle, clear way. This retreat is designed to help you identify your personal wounds, release energy that no longer serves you, and reclaim your power through ritual and reflection.

Q: Can I participate if I have physical limitations?
A: Yes. All activities are adaptable, and you can engage in ways that feel comfortable for your body. Movement is optional, and I offer seated alternatives for all rituals. Please note though that there are steps up to the property and that the toilet is also upstairs.

Q: What if I can’t make the full 4 hours?
A: Ideally, participants attend the full session to experience the full flow of ritual and integration. If you need to arrive late or leave early, please contact me in advance, and I'll ensure you still feel supported and let you know if this is still manageable.

Q: How does this retreat connect to The Witch’s Return?
A: This retreat is a standalone, powerful ritual experience, but it also serves as a gateway to The Witch’s Return, where you can continue healing, explore deeper energetic patterns, and reclaim your power over a longer journey.

Q: Will this retreat be recorded?
A: No. This is a live, in-person ritual experience, designed to be fully immersive. Part of the magick is the energy shared in the room, which can’t be captured on video.

Q: What if I feel emotional or triggered during the rituals?
A: Emotional release is natural and expected. The retreat provides a safe, supportive container, and I will guide you through grounding, integration, and self-care practices. You are fully supported throughout.
