Crystal Healing Mandala Workshop
Beltane; Honouring Your Inner Season
This is an in-person workshop hosted in Doncaster, DN12; please do not buy this service if you are unable to make the circle in person on the day.
In this session, we gather in sacred circle—an intentional, nurturing space where you are invited to reconnect with your inner self through creativity and reflection.
Together, we’ll open the circle in ceremony and begin crafting our mandalas: sacred, symbolic representations of our inner worlds. These mandalas mirror not only our current emotions and energy, but also the turning of the seasons—both in nature and within ourselves.
Each season invites change. Some changes are visible—blossoms blooming or leaves falling—but others unfold within: shifts in perspective, healing, growth. This workshop is a space to honour those shifts. You’re warmly invited to return each season to witness and document your inner transformations through your evolving mandalas—or simply join us for a one-off experience.
This particular session aligns with the energy of Beltane, the fire festival of summer's arrival. Beltane is a time of purification, vitality, and fertility. It invites us to cleanse what no longer serves us and plant seeds of intention for the months ahead.
As we create our mandalas, we’ll draw on the wisdom of our intuition and the inspiration of the natural world. Feel free to bring along natural materials—leaves, feathers, stones, petals—alongside art supplies like pens, paint, string, crystals, or whatever calls to you. We’ll be weaving these into personal mandalas that reflect your own unique essence.
And please—don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself “creative.” This is not about artistic skill. Your mandala isn’t meant to be a perfect piece of art—it’s a reflection of your inner landscape. Whether it looks messy, abstract, or bold—it’s perfect if it’s true.
You’ll be gently guided through the whole process, with space to share your thoughts and insights if you feel called. We’ll take a break for tea and cake, and you’ll receive journaling prompts to help deepen your reflections.
Then, we’ll spend some time exploring the meanings within your mandala. This can be a deeply moving experience—sometimes emotional, sometimes joyful, sometimes surprising. Your mandala may offer clarity, healing, or a powerful mirror reflecting what you most need to hear.
Healing isn’t always comfortable. It’s not always neat. But it is sacred—and you don’t have to go it alone. I’ll be right there with you.
If time allows, we’ll close our session with a guided meditation and a final blessing to seal the circle.

More about Mandalas and Mandala Therapies
The word mandala means "circle" in Sanskrit. Mandalas are found in various places all over the world such as India, Tibet and China and play an important role for Hindus and Buddhists. A circle is considered a sacred form as it has no beginning nor end.
Carl Jung (a Swiss psychoanalyst, psychiatrist, and founder of analytical psychology) stated that mandalas were the “archetypes of wholeness”. Jung observed that:
- When making a mandala, it was a representation of that person as a whole in that moment
- The process of making a mandala presented the opportunity for inner understanding and wholeness
- Making mandalas had a calming and focusing effect
Mandala therapy is now a widely used tool amongst psychologists and art therapists.
FAQ’s
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
A: Please bring along a journal or notebook and do feel free to bring natural resources along with you if you wish to do so.
Q: Do I need to be good at art or be creative?
A: Absolutely not! This isn’t about creating an art piece; it’s about creating something real. Of course, the outcome may be something beautiful, but that’s not necessarily the goal.
Q: Will I get to keep my mandala?
A: You may keep the paper it was on, but as it's a 3D piece that is not glued down, it will be taken apart again once you have sat with it, contemplated its wisdom and analysed it. For Buddhists, mandalas are traditionally destroyed upon completion to serve as a reminder of the impermanence of life.
Q: Can I bring along my child?
A: Babes in arms are fine (pre crawlers) but I’m afraid that this session is not child friendly due to too many small items which are easy to choke on; we're also aiming for a calmer setting.
