Imbolc: Crystal Healing Mandala Workshop

Welcome to an intimate in-person workshop held in Doncaster, DN12. Please ensure you’re available to attend in person on the day as this is a physical gathering.

🌟 About the Workshop

This session is an opportunity to sit in sacred circle and create a mandala—a reflective representation of your inner self. Together, we will honor Imbolc, the festival of renewal, hope, and the return of the light.

Imbolc celebrates Brigid, the Triple Goddess of hearth, home, fertility, and purification. Through this healing practice, we’ll embrace the themes of quickening, intention-setting, and transformation, aligning ourselves with the cycles of nature and our own inner seasons.

What You’ll Experience

🌿 Sacred Circle

We’ll open a safe and nurturing space where you can express your emotions, thoughts, and creativity without judgment.

🌿 Mandala Creation

Your mandala will serve as a visual representation of your intentions, emotions, and inner state. Using a mix of natural items (leaves, feathers, stones, etc.), art materials, and crystals, we’ll craft unique expressions of our current inner season.

🌿 Journaling & Reflection

You’ll have time to journal on the insights and emotions that arise during the session. Prompts will guide deeper exploration of what your mandala reveals.

🌿 Group Sharing

You’re invited (but never obligated) to share your experiences with the circle. This is a powerful way to connect and learn from one another’s journeys.

🌿 Guided Meditation

We’ll close with a meditation to integrate the healing and insights gained, leaving you grounded and renewed.

Why Mandalas?

The word “mandala” means “circle” in Sanskrit, symbolizing wholeness and the infinite nature of life. Mandalas have been used for centuries in spiritual traditions across the world, and their therapeutic benefits are profound:

✨️ They help calm the mind and enhance focus.

✨️ They provide a mirror for self-reflection and deeper understanding.

✨️ They allow us to connect with our inner selves in a creative and intuitive way.

As Carl Jung described, mandalas are “archetypes of wholeness,” offering us the chance to see and embrace all aspects of ourselves.

Why Imbolc?

Imbolc is a time of renewal and hope as we welcome the light back into our lives. It’s a season for planting seeds—both literal and metaphorical—and nurturing the intentions we wish to manifest. Together, we’ll honor these themes, guided by the wisdom of Brigid and the cycles of nature.

FAQ’s

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?

A: No, just your lovely self! Given the time of year, we won't be walking around to collect leaves etc, so please do feel free to bring those natural resources along with you if you wish to do so.

Q: Do I need to be good at art or be creative?

A: Absolutely not! This isn’t about creating an art piece; it’s about creating something real. Of course, the outcome may be something beautiful, but that’s not necessarily the goal.

Q: Will I get to keep my mandala?

A: You may keep the paper it was on, but as it's a 3D piece that is not glued down, it will be taken apart again once you have sat with it, contemplated its wisdom and analysed it. For Buddhists, mandalas are traditionally destroyed upon completion to serve as a reminder of the impermanence of life.

Q: Can I bring along my child?

A: Babes in arms are fine (pre crawlers) but I’m afraid that this session is not child friendly due to too many small items which are easy to choke on; we're also aiming for a calmer setting.
